Cuttack, July 15 -- President Droupadi Murmu today attended the convocation ceremony of Ravenshaw University in Cuttack and lauded the institution's rich legacy and continued contribution to education, research, and social empowerment.

In her address, President Murmu highlighted Ravenshaw's historical role as a hub of India's freedom struggle and its association with the movement for Odisha's statehood. She said the university has consistently played a significant role in promoting education and women's empowerment.
