India, April 23 -- Pony AI Inc. (PONY) soared 29.57 percent to $5.44 during Wednesday's trading after the company unveiled its seventh-generation autonomous driving system at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The stock is trading between $4.54 and $5.68 today, compared to a previous close of $4.16 on the Nasdaq. Volume surged to 6.2 million, well above the average of 1.86 million. PONY is currently trading near the lower end of its 52-week range of $4.11 to $23.88.
The system features a fully automotive grade kit with enhanced safety, modular architecture for multi-vehicle compatibility, and a 70 percent reduction in bill-of-materials costs compared to its predecessor.
