India, June 3 -- Oil prices rose for a second consecutive session on Tuesday amid concerns about supply due to escalating geopolitical tensions and stuttering U.S.-Iran nuclear talks.

Benchmark Brent crude futures edged up by 0.3 percent to $64.83 in European trade, while WTI crude futures were up 0.4 percent at $62.76.

Wildfires in Canada's energy heartland of Alberta have shut down almost 350,000 barrels of daily heavy crude production - about 7 percent of the country's output.
