India, March 6 -- The US Food and Drug Administration announced that Nebraska-based Nova-Tech, Inc. is voluntarily recalling one lot of 5-liter Lactated Ringers Injection for Animal Use, as it potentially contains fiber-like visible particles.
The recall was initiated after the company found the issue during a routine visual check for stability testing.
The recall is limited to end users only and the impacted products include an injectable solution used under a veterinarian's direction, packaged in 5-liter IV bags in 2 per case.
The affected Lactated Ringers Injection is from lot #C2411061, expiring November 2026. It can be identified by item code 18-803-80 and NDC #65207-803-80.
