India, Dec. 5 -- New Zealand's terms of trade advanced a seasonally adjusted 1.9 percent on quarter in the third quarter of 2019, Statistics New Zealand said on Monday.

That beat expectations for an increase of 1.0 percent and was up from 1.6 percent in the three months prior.

Export prices for goods rose 1.9 percent and import prices were flat. Export volumes for goods fell 4.6 percent and import volumes rose 1.1 percent.

Export values for goods fell 2.0 percent and import values rose 0.7 percent.
