India, March 13 -- New Age International Inc. is recalling all lots of Daily Veggies brand Enoki Mushroom due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes, according to the US Food and Drug Administration.
The recall began after the West Virginia Department of Agriculture found Listeria monocytogenes in some 200g packages of Daily Veggies Enoki Mushrooms from Korea.
The contamination was discovered by testing store samples in West Virginia on January 14.
The recalled products come in a clear plastic package with yellow and green ink, labeled "Product of Korea" and weighing 200g or 7.05oz. The UPC code on the back is 8809159458890.
