India, Nov. 18 -- Swiss food major Nestle and French supermarket chain Carrefour have again teamed up with IBM Blockchain to apply blockchain technology to track organic infant milk formula products to provide consumers with greater transparency on product checks and origins.

This follows the move by the three companies in mid-April to successfully apply blockchain technology to track a popular mashed potato brand in Europe, Nestle Maggi's Mousline puree.

Nestle's GUIGOZ Bio 2 and 3 infant milk range from Laboratoires Guigoz will be tracked using blockchain-based Cloud network IBM Food Trust solution, which is based on Blockchain Hyperledger technology.
