India, Feb. 18 -- Medtronic plc (MDT) is down 6.88 percent, losing $6.16 to trade at $86.65, despite reporting an increase in net sales in the third quarter, while net income declined slightly to $1.30 billion from $1.34 billion.
The stock opened at $87.96 and has traded between $85.42 and $88.40 so far today. Volume is at 6.80 million shares, slightly above its average of 6.70 million. Medtronic's 52-week range is between $75.96 and $93.08.
The company posted $8.29 billion in revenue, up from $8.09 billion in the prior period.
