India, July 14 -- New Jersey-based LLK Trading Inc. recalled 200-gram packages of Needle Mushrooms due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The potential contamination was identified after routine FDA testing detected Listeria monocytogenes in a sampled package.

The sales of the product have been suspended as the FDA and the company continue investigating the source of the contamination.

The product is packaged in a 200-gram clear plastic container on top with a blue, non-transparent bottom.

The recalled Needle Mushrooms were distributed to Bally Produce Corp. in Maspeth, New York, and sold to Datang Supermarket Inc.
