India, May 2 -- Texas-based Kubota Tractor Corp. will be recalling about 49,640 Kubota Utility Vehicles due to a potential crash hazard to consumers, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission or CPSC.
The recall was initiated after identifying that the ball joint that links the front suspension arm may loosen and detach, potentially causing the driver to lose wheel control of the utility vehicle, which could lead to a crash risk.
The company has received four reports of ball joints loosening or separating. However, no injuries have been reported due to the manufacturing defect.
The recall involves Kubota Utility Vehicles under the 'RTV-series.'
Affected models include the RTV520, RTV-X1120, RTV-X1130, RTV-X1140, RTV-X, RT...
