India, June 12 -- The Indonesia stock market has moved lower in back-to-back sessions, slipping more than 25 points or 0.4 percent in that span. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just above the 7,200-point plateau although it may find support on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is murky amidst conflicting economic data, trade updates and geopolitical events. The European markets were down and the U.S. bourses were slightly higher and the Asian markets figure to follow the latter lead.

The JCI finished modestly lower on Thursday following mixed performances from the financial shares, cement stocks and resource companies.

For the day, the index sank 18.09 points or 0.25 percent to finish at 7,204.37.
