Indian Rupee Off 6-day High Against U.S. Dollar

India, Feb. 8 -- The Indian rupee retraced its gains against the U.S. dollar in evening deals on Thursday.

The Indian rupee edged down to 83.00 against the greenback, after rising to a 6-day high of 82.89 in the previous session. The rupee may locate support around the 83.4 level.
