India, June 12 -- Brooklyn-based Hofood99 Inc. is recalling 200g packages of Enoki Mushroom due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall was initiated after samples taken from a store in Michigan were tested by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development Laboratory Division, which confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.

The impacted product comes in 200g, green plastic package marked with UPC Barcode 6 976532 310051.

The recalled products were distributed in retail stores across the United States.
