India, May 30 -- Haribo has issued a recall of select one-kilogram bags of its Happy Cola F!ZZ gummies in the Netherlands after several people, including children, fell ill from consuming products found to contain cannabis, Dutch authorities confirmed.
The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority launched an investigation after reports of dizziness and other symptoms were linked to the gummies. Laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of cannabis in a small number of bags. The contamination appears to be limited to a single production batch identified by the best-before date of January 2026 and production code L341-4002307906.
