India, July 15 -- HANCOCK WHITNEY CORP (HWC) revealed a profit for second quarter that missed the Street estimates.

The company's earnings totaled $113.53 million, or $1.32 per share. This compares with $114.56 million, or $1.31 per share, last year.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $1.36 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
