India, April 3 -- Google Cloud, affiliated to Alphabet Inc.'s (GOOG) Google, announced Thursday that it has expanded multi-year partnership with pizza maker Papa John's International Inc (PZZA) to deliver artificial intelligence or AI-powered pizza ordering and delivery experience.

In pre-market activity on the Nasdaq, Papa John's shares were losing around 3.5 percent to trade at $40.40.

Papa Johns has created an innovation team, named PJX, through the partnership, which will leverage Google Cloud's AI, data analytics and machine learning or ML capabilities. The company expects to provide a more frictionless and consistent experience for customers both inside its restaurants and throughout its digital channels.
