India, Feb. 3 -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration or FDA announced that Gerber Products Company is recalling and terminating Gerber Soothe n Chew Teething Sticks due to potential choking hazard for babies and young children.
The recall of all batches of the product started after the company received reports of choking incidents from consumers. So far, one emergency room visit has been linked to the incidents.
The impacted products were available in two flavors: Strawberry Apple and Banana. The Strawberry Apple variety comes in a 3.2 oz 90g package with UPC 0 15000 04618 7.
The Banana flavor was available in 3.2 Oz (90g) size with UPC 0 15000 04608 8; as well as in 1.59 Oz (45g) size with UPC 0 15000 01015 7.
