India, Jan. 29 -- A research team recently investigated the impact of long-term cannabis use on brain function during cognitive activities.

During the study, the researchers categorized heavy users as those who have used cannabis over a thousand times during their lifetime, whereas those who used it between 10 to 999 times were considered as moderate user, and those who used it less than ten times were considered a non-user.

The study utilized data from the Human Connectome Project of over 1,000 young adults aged between 22 and 36.
