India, April 22 -- Femto Technologies Inc. (FMTO) surged 20.92 percent to $7.26 during Tuesday's trading with no apparent news driving the move. The stock spiked as high as $11.47 during the session before pulling back.
FMTO opened at $6.42 and is trading well above its previous close of $6.00. Volume skyrocketed to 1.8 million shares, far exceeding the average daily volume of just 48,000 on the Nasdaq.
Despite today's gain, the stock remains near the bottom of its highly volatile 52-week range of $6.00 to $12,920.00.
