Encompass Health Corp Q4 Profit Climbs

India, Feb. 6 -- Encompass Health Corp (EHC) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year

The company's bottom line came in at $120.9 million, or $1.18 per share. This compares with $87.6 million, or $0.86 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Encompass Health Corp reported adjusted earnings of $119.3 million or $1.17 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the period rose 12.8% to $1.405 billion from $1.246 billion last year.
