India, Aug. 5 -- CaliberCos Inc. (CWD) shares surged 119.02 percent to $5.75 on Tuesday, even though there was no new company-specific news to explain the sharp move. The stock opened at $2.62 and hit an intraday high of $8.34 before pulling back.
Trading volume spiked to 68.7 million shares, far above the average daily volume of just 29,000 on the Nasdaq. CaliberCos now trades within a 52-week range of $2.33 to $15.80, having closed at $2.62 the previous session.
