India, April 16 -- Autoliv, Inc. (ALV) climbed 8.14 percent to $88.93 during Wednesday's trading after gaining recognition for its innovative Bernoulli Airbag Module, a new passenger airbag system that improves safety and efficiency using principles of fluid dynamics.
The stock opened at $86.11 and traded between $86.11 and $89.89 on the New York Stock Exchange. Volume reached 1.8 million shares, nearly doubling its average of 964,000.
Autoliv shares have ranged from $75.49 to $129.38 over the past year.
