India, May 16 -- California-based Ariana Sweets Inc. is recalling Afghani Corn Bread "Doda" due to undeclared sesame and wheat, known allergens, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recall was initiated after a routine FDA inspection found that products containing sesame and wheat were distributed in packaging that failed to disclose these allergens.
The recalled Doda, a shelf-stable 24-oz round sweet bread, is packaged in a plastic bag, with a UPC number of 753182432670. The impacted products were manufactured before April 24.
The recalled products were distributed to retail locations in California.
