India, May 14 -- Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc. (ARCO) shares dropped 6.99 percent to $7.59 on Wednesday after the company reported lower revenue and net income for the first quarter of 2025. Total revenue came in at $1.08 billion, slightly below the $1.08 billion reported in the same quarter last year.
The stock opened at $7.07 and ranged between $6.81 and $7.83 during the session on the New York Stock Exchange. Volume reached 2.25 million shares, surpassing the average of 1.64 million. Over the past 52 weeks, ARCO has traded between $6.66 and $11.03.
Net income declined to $14.1 million from $28.8 million a year earlier, reflecting a significant year-over-year decrease in profitability.
