India, March 5 -- California-based AKT Trading Inc. is recalling prepared vegetable products manufactured by Choshiya Honten Co., Ltd. due to a possible risk of Clostridium botulinum, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Clostridium botulinum is a dangerous bacterium that can cause botulism, a potentially fatal food poisoning. Symptoms include weakness, dizziness, double vision, and difficulty speaking or swallowing.

Other common signs are trouble in breathing, muscle weakness, bloating, and constipation.
