India, July 10 -- Above Food Ingredients Inc. (ABVE) shares surged 332.61 percent to $1.54 in heavy trading Thursday, despite no company-specific news driving the move. The stock exploded from a previous close of $0.3560, opening at $0.4141 and hitting an intraday high of $1.87 a fresh test of its 52-week highs on the Nasdaq. Trading volume skyrocketed to over 217 million shares, far exceeding the average daily volume of just over 1.1 million. The day's range spanned from $0.39 to $1.87. The stock is now trading near the upper end of its 52-week range of $0.25 to $2.92.
