Youth committing suicide in quarantine facility had COVID-19
ROLPA, July 3 -- A youth who committed suicide in a quarantine facility on July 1 tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
According to Chief District Officer Narendra Rana, the throat swab samples of the 31 years old youth from Gangadev Rural Municipality-5 tested positive for COVID-19 through a test conducted at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
The body of the deceased is being cremated by a team of Nepal Army. He had returned from Dubai on June 24.
With this, Rolpa has witnessed 48 cases of COVID-19 so far.
The contract tracing is underway, according to the Rural Municipality Office.
