Mahato has now declared a 'national liberation revolution'. Lately, there have been serious differences between LSP Chairman Mahanta Thakur and Mahato. Due to this dispute, Mahato boycotted the central committee meeting called by Thakur.

According to a source close to Mahato, now Mahato has reached various districts of Madhesh to understand the views of activists on the matter of starting a new party. Leaders close to Mahato say that Thakur and Mahato are no longer in the same party.
