KATHMANDU, Sept. 1 -- The monsoon's low-pressure line has shifted south of its usual position, drawing in moisture-laden winds from the Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Across the country, skies are expected to remain mostly cloudy. Moderate rainfall is likely in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in isolated hilly and Terai regions elsewhere. The MFD has also warned of the possibility of heavy downpours in one or two places in Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces.
By nightfall, conditions are expected to stay cloudy nationwide. Moderate rainfall is likely in some areas of Sudurpaschim, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, with showers also possible in a few...
