Nepal, July 20 -- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that the monsoon is currently active across the country. The monsoon trough is situated north of its average position over western and central Nepal, and near the average position in the eastern region.

Due to this influence, partial to generally cloudy conditions prevail over the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces, while the rest of the country is experiencing partial cloud cover. Light to moderate rainfall is occurring at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
