Nepal, Sept. 22 -- Two US nationals who escaped from prison during the September 9 mass jailbreak amid the Gen Z movement have been recaptured in Kathmandu.

The fugitives have been identified as Michael Norman Taylor, 70, convicted of child sexual abuse by the Kaski District Court, and Johnson Lloyd Modai, 40, convicted of rape by the Kathmandu District Court. Taylor had been serving his sentence in Pokhara District Prison, while Modai was incarcerated in Central Jail, Kathmandu.
