Nepal, Sept. 4 -- The United States has provided the Nepal Army with two M28 Sky Trucks, an air ambulance and a standard Sky Truck, as a full grant as a part of its foreign assistance program.

The handover took place on Thursday at the Mid-Air Base in Gauchar, with Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba and Defense Minister Manbir Rai in attendance. The US Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson formally handed over the aircraft to Nepal Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sigdel.
