Nepal, April 25 -- CPN-UML lawmaker Gokarna Bista has criticized the ambiguous stance of ruling coalition partners, indirectly referring to leaders of the Nepali Congress (NC). Speaking during Friday's session of the House of Representatives, Bista remarked that it has become difficult to distinguish whether some leaders in government are acting as part of the ruling coalition or the opposition.

"At times, it feels like those in power are behaving as though they are in the opposition - it's hard to tell the difference," said Bista, "We must rise above this kind of situation and work towards fostering a culture of coalition governance."
