KATHMANDU, Dec. 14 -- The closed session of the 11th National General Convention of the CPN-UML is set to begin today afternoon at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, as leaders and party cadres have started gathering at the venue for the leadership selection process.
The closed session, originally scheduled to begin at 8:00 am, has been postponed to 12:30 pm, according to Gautam, head of the party's publicity department. The delay was due to a Central Committee meeting scheduled for 9:00 am.
The closed session is expected to focus on electing the party's new leadership.
