Kathmandu, Oct. 13 -- The ongoing secretariat meeting of the CPN-UML has demanded the restoration of the House of Representatives, calling the current interim government and the dissolution unconstitutional and undemocratic.
The party also accused the government of not creating a 'fearless' and 'peaceful' environment to hold the election on March 5, putting the fate of the election in uncertainty.
The decisions were made during the party's 58th Secretariat meeting held on Sunday. Speaking after the meeting, Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali informed that the Secretariat unanimously concluded that the recent dissolution of the House of Representatives must be reversed.
