Nepal, June 11 -- The United Arab Emirates has announced the implementation of its annual midday work ban, aimed at protecting outdoor workers from extreme summer heat. Effective from June 15 to September 15, the ban prohibits work under direct sunlight and in open areas between 12:30 PM and 3:00 PM each day.
Now in its 21st consecutive year, the measure underscores the UAE's ongoing commitment to occupational safety and the well-being of workers during the peak summer months.
