Nepal, May 22 -- Two young women have been arrested in Kathmandu for luring people into a honey trap to demand property. The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office (KVCIO) of Nepal Police arrested the two women on Wednesday for being involved in the honey trap scheme.

The arrested individuals are Mamata Tamang, 34, originally from Damoura in Godawari Municipality-10, Kailali, and Anchal Shrestha, 34, originally from Sallaghari in Bhaktapur Municipality-17, currently residing in Handigaun, Kathmandu.

The police have stated that the two women initially connected with the victim through Facebook and built a relationship. They then invited the victim to a hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu, where they served food and intoxicating substances. W...
