KATHMANDU, March 21 -- A policeman and a youth died in two different accidents which occurred in Tanahun and Dhading on Tuesday.
Police personnel Nanda Kumar Shrestha of Sitganga Municipality -3, Arghakhanchi, died after his motorcycle was bumped by a truck Haledi of Shuklagandaki-2, Tanahun, along the Prithvi Highway on Tuesday evening.
Shrestha worked for Province 4 Police Office, Pokhara. The accident occurred at around 8 pm. Shrestha was traveling to Damauli from Pokhara when his motorbike (Na 46 Pa 5514) was hit by a truck (Ba 4 Kha 710) coming from the same direction.
