Kathmandu, Dec. 2 -- Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday slid 0.53 points to close at 2,644.70 points.The secondary market opened at 2,645.24 points, initially adding four points, plunged to the day's low at 2,638.46 points within the first 34 minutes of trading. The index went up and reached as high as 2,652.32 points in the next 80 minutes. However, the market could not retain its charm and gradually fell to as low as 2,638.53 points in the last 15 minutes. The market recovered around six points in the remaining period before it closed for the day.
