Kathmandu, Dec. 1 -- The restriction preventing former National Investigation Department (NID) Chief Hutaraj Thapa from leaving the Kathmandu Valley has been lifted following the completion of his statement before the probe commission. The Gauri Bahadur Karki-led commission investigating the incidents during the September 8-9 Gen Z protests had earlier barred Thapa from exiting the Valley. The Probe Commission Spokesperson and a member Bijyan Raj Sharma said the restriction was revoked after Thapa recorded his testimony.
