KATHMANDU, March 5 -- Tourist traffic has started increasing in Lukla. After two months, the traffic of tourists has started to increase in Lukla as the weather is favorable.

Lukla Airport Chief Umesh Panthi said that various airlines have increased the frequency of flights of helicopters and airplanes. According to him, the frequency of cargo flights has also increased.

Due to winter, flights were affected for two months. The flights of airplanes and helicopters have increased for the last four days, he said, adding that the number of foreign tourists has started to increase gradually.
