Nepal, Dec. 28 -- Top leaders of the country's three major political parties have called for a conducive and secure environment to hold the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) elections, reaffirming their commitment to participate in the polls scheduled for March 5.

The call came during a meeting held on Saturday at the Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, where Prime Minister Sushila Karki held discussions with leaders of the three major parties from the dissolved HoR. Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal attended the meeting.
