Nepal, July 10 -- Three accused who had been absconding in connection with the Tinkune pro-monarch protest, which turned violent on March 28, appeared in court on Wednesday.
The District Court Kathmandu sent one of them to judicial custody for investigation while ordering the release of the other two on bail.
According to District Court spokesperson Deepak Kumar Shrestha, a single bench of Judge Bal Krishna Wagle ordered that Satish Neupane, who had been on the run for a long time, be sent to Dillibazar prison for judicial custody. Neupane was immediately transferred to jail as per the order.
