KAPILVASTU, Feb. 3 -- Three people have been arrested along with 2.1 million illegal Indian currency from Taulihawa of Kapilvastu. They were arrested along with the money in a car with Indian number plate at around nine o'clock last night near Jamuhar Bridge in Taulihawa based on a special tipoff. Among those arrested are two Nepalis and an Indian national.

According to Superintendent of Police, Prem Bahadur Basnet, among those arrested are Rakesh Kumar Verma, 26, Rajesh Kumar Verma, 35, of Shuddhodan Rural Municipality-6, Bimiha, the driver of the vehicle is Hamid Musalman, 28, a resident of Naugarh, Sidhharthanagar of India, currently residing in Mayadevi Rural Municipality-1 Emilia, Kapilvastu.
