Kathmandu, June 7 -- Chef Sushila Upadhyay Thapa heads the bakery and confectionery division of Ageno restaurant

in Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur. She works throughout the week, not even taking a Saturday for herself,

and works from ten in the morning to nine at night (from opening until closing).

In the nine years of her career as a chef, she has worked with the same vigor and tenacity as she had when starting out.

Among the many responsibilities she has, one is delegating tasks among her team of 15 cooks, assistant cooks and cleaners. Each day their team dolls out cookies, pastries, cakes, scones, and rolls which are, considered by many, as some of the best in town.
