Nepal, Jan. 15 -- Nepali Congress officials led by President Gagan Thapa and VP Bishwaprakash Sharma visited the Election Commission to update executive records, replacing Sher Bahadur Deuba's signature with Thapa's.
Office-bearers elected from the Nepali Congress's second Special General Convention on Thursday including newly elected officials, led by party president Gagan Thapa and Vice President Bishwaprakash Sharma reached the Election Commission (EC) to update the party's executive records made earlier Wednesday.They arrived at the EC after holding their first Central Committee meeting in Kupondole, Lalitpur. They are scheduled to meet Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari.
