Nepal, May 15 -- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against 16 individuals, including former Minister and Nepali Congress MP Mohan Bahadur Basnet in the Telecommunication Traffic Monitoring and Fraud Control System (TERAMOCS) procurement case on Wednesday.
The CIAA has filed a case in the TERAMOCS procurement incident, accusing the involved individuals of preparing a false report in favor of an unqualified bidder and causing damage to state property by not following the legal provisions as mandated by the Supreme Court's order.
