Nepal, March 8 -- Teachers from all over Nepal gathered at the heart of Kathmandu on Saturday, staging a powerful street protest to demand the enactment of the School Education Act.

Organized by the Nepal Teachers' Federation, the protest saw teachers marching from Maitighar to New Baneshwar, holding placards and chanting slogans, calling for immediate government action.

The demonstration, led by the Federation, aims to pressure the government to approve the much-awaited School Education Act, which the teachers believe is crucial for improving the education system in the country.
