KATHMANDU, Aug. 29 -- The Nepal Teachers' Federation (NTF) staged a protest at the central office of the CPN (Maoist Center) today.

As part of the first phase of their agitation, they held a sit-in from 11 AM to 1 PM at the party's central office in Parisdanda, submitting a memorandum to highlight their demands.

The NFT is organizing similar protests at various party offices to pressure authorities to address their demands and implement the School Education Act.
