KATHMANDU, June 18 -- Tata Trusts and Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha - a CSR wing of Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd - handed reconstructed building of Shree Kupkanya Secondary School to the local community.

Co-chairperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal handed over the school building.

The building, which was damaged in the 2015 earthquakes, was rebuilt under 'Nepal Earthquake Rehabilitation Initiative' by Tata Trust in partnership with Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha. Under the program, buildings of seven different schools affected by the earthquake were rebuilt.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, V R Mehta, a trustee at Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, opined that while tragic, the calamity had allowed the company to go beyond border ...
